    Psychological First Aid (PFA) Training

    The Office of Public Health Preparedness (OPHP) under the Hawaii Department of Health (HDOH) is offering a Psychological First Aid (PFA) training webinar. Due to our involvement in the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic response, we know it is important to offer training that could be used to reduce the initial distress caused by a disaster or traumatic event.

    More PFA training dates are being planned so if you are unable to make it to this training date/time, I will send out other dates as they are confirmed.

    Psychological First Aid (PFA) Training instructors are Mike Wurtz, LSW and Ryan Yamane, LSW.
    Both Mike and Ryan have assisted and partnered with HIMRC for many years. They also lend their talents to the American Red Cross (ARC).
